Associate Pastor of First Baptist Church Pekin: First Baptist Church Pekin is seeking a full-time associate pastor. This position would report to the Senior Pastor and church leadership (congregational).

Key Attributes: 1 Timothy: 3:1-7 & Titus 1:5-9

Job Description: This role will have the opportunity to impact the community of Pekin by presenting the gospel through the administration of our church health strategy which is made up of seven ministry teams. The primary part of this role is to be the point man of these teams, recruiting, supporting, and providing leadership to the team leaders as they do the same with their teams.

Small group ministry is essential to our church health strategy. Initially, you will put special emphasis on this team, building it into a vibrant, healthy system with a team to manage it.

This role will also supervise and evaluate a staff of 1 full-time and 5 part-time positions, supporting and encouraging them as needed.

Salary/Benefits: - Starts at $55,000 - 401(k) with employer match of 6% after 2 years - Possible annual bonus based on performance - minimum 42 hours per week -vacation and sick time
