Ladies: Living Proof Life! (added 5/11/10)
June 25th & 26th Living Proof Live featuring Beth Moore in St. Louis. After the great time we had in Springfield, we decided to go again this summer to Living Proof Live.
We have reserved rooms and rented a bus and now we need to know who is going to join us on this overnight trip. If you were signed up, please pay your $60 for the ticket as soon as
possible. We do have a few tickets still available if you missed the first sign-up. Please contact Cheri Dean for more details and availability. Flyers with more information are
avail- able in the foyer.
Roadrunners going to Washington D.C. (added 5/11/10)
If you are an adult (any age) and would like to go on a spectacular trip to our nationÕs Capitol, Gettysburg & more, make sure you mark October 14-20 on your calendar for a special trip
out East for the annual FBC Fall Roadrunner trip.
Not only is Washington DC with all of its wonderful sites and historical Gettysburg included, but also Hershey, PA (home of Chocolate), see Joseph at the Sight & Sound Theatre
in Lancaster, PA and a beautiful fall foliage (we hope) drive through the Shenandoah Valley on the way home. Sit back and enjoy someone else doing the driving, enjoy a step-on-guide
to explain the sites, enjoy the fellowship with new friends on the bus, and of course the delicious meals that are all planned. Make sure you pick up a detailed itinerary on a
table in the outer foyer.
Because of a large non-refundable hotel deposit due in August, we need our minimum of 30 people signed up by August 8 with a $100 deposit. Otherwise, the trip will need to be
cancelled. Invite your friends & family to join you.
Will you put FBC on your grocery list once a month? (added 8/25/08)
Our food pantry is being depleted faster than ever before. Would you
consider buying a few extra bags of food just once a month to help with this ministry? We really need your
help in keeping up with the demand. Won't you please pray about what God would have you do to help? Questions?
Please call the office or Ruth McIntosh.
Box Tops and Labels for Education (added 5/31/08)
Are you throwing money away? You can help Jefferson School with
the products in your cupboard. Box Tops for Education has helped America's schools earn over $200 million
since 1996. Look for the 10 cent box tops coupons on hundreds of products. Labels for Education has also
been awarding free educational equipment to schools in exchange for Campbell labels. A complete list for
these programs is available at the information desk in the foyer or in the church office. Start clipping
and saving to see how much we can help Jefferson School! A large Campbell Soup can is in the outer foyer
for your donated labels and box tops.
